About April Heim : Welcome! My name is April Heim. I am proudly raising my three children on Kent Island with my husband Bobby, where I have lived for almost 40 years. For over 10 years I have prided myself as a Full Time Realtor, Associate Broker and a dedicated professional with experience that truly makes difference. Always striving to provide the best for my customer, I have gone above and beyond the standard Maryland State Licensing requirements and strengthened my expertise through continued education. I have achieved the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), NAR At Home with Diversity (One America) and obtained the Maryland State Associate Brokers License. Earning a high degree of respect from fellow Realtors, I was voted the 2008 BAAR “Realtor of the Year”. I served as President of the Bay Area Association of Realtors in 2007 and served on the Board of Directors for 3 years. In 2007 I proudly graduated from the Maryland Association of Realtors Leadership Academy. I am very proud to still be serving on the BAAR Professional Standards and Community Service Committees.

I take great pride in the work relationships I build with every client. Throughout my Real Estate career I have customers who become like family to me- building lifelong relationships. Involvement in the community in very important to me, especially while raising three children. I have participated as a Youth Director, PTA Teacher Appreciation Chairperson, Cheerleading Coach, Youth Drama and Choir Director, just to name a few. With a passion to help others I have reached out in such events as Relay for Life, American Heart Walk, Christmas in April, Adopt-A-Bear, Our Haven Shelter and Turkey Tags. I was awarded the BAAR Community Service Award in 2006.
